SXSW 2010

SXSW was a blast as usual.  I was pretty bummed to find out that Texas State had their Spring Break the week before SXSW which means I had class all week!  I ended up spending the entire week downtown and missed most of my classes for the week but it all worked out because turns out, I didn't miss too much. Thanks to my fellow classmates for filling me in on the notes I missed.

Did I mention, I rode carnival rides! How random is that during SXSW? Well I guess you should expect the unexpected during this time of year!  I have to say this was the most creative party I have seen by far during SXSW.

Yay! Breaking the blog cherry...

High five to me for finally posting a blog. I mean I have had this account for who knows how long (probably longer than a year) and have yet to actually post something. So for my few readers and future readers- Welcome to my World!

So it has been an interesting start to the Month of Lovers (February). It has had its ups and downs but now the ups are starting to outweigh the downs! I started the month off by ordering two pairs of new kicks- yay! Probably the highlight of the first of the month since I haven't bought a new pair of sneakers in months...here are some pics of what I will be sporting sooner than later:

Anywho- back to the story. So I ordered these shoes and the girl I ordered them from was starting to act shady. It took her 5 days to ship them out! I almost booked a flight to WA to collect, but fortunately for her she shipped them Monday.

The downs: I had a rough first week at work. Had a large group of young kids that about drove me crazy, but somehow I managed to survive. There were some life lessons learned FO SHO!

But now I am running on a strand of ups and am hoping Lover's Month continues to bring me happiness!
